TIME TO GET CREATIVE

If you like to paint and to read this is the perfect post for you. Because it is time to get your pens, colored pencils, water colors or any other art supplies you can think of out of their homedrawers and spend a warm evening on the terrace, on your sofa with a nice movie or music coloring these in.
Short story time or well at least me rambling on how these came to be.....
Lately I had a hard time to create anything. I felt drained and tired, but somehow I still had the urge to do something with my hands. After quite a few fails, I started a diy diorama kit and that helped. So I thought maybe creating something from an existing piece would be a good idea, instead of starting from scratch. And then I remembered how much I loved coloring books when I was younger. Well I stll love coloring things, but nowadays I normally color my own lineart. Soooo a coloring piece sounded like a great idea.
Since I love to read, I decided to try to make some diy bookmarks myself, cause you can never have enough bookmarks... right? At least I can´t.
For my first tries I used lineart that I already had - so I would not have to start from scratch - sounded like a good idea. Aaaand it was, I kinda fell in a black hole doing these, it was so much fun to play around with the art to make it fit and to add backgrounds to make it look interesting and fun . I honestly did not expect to like the design process this much. :-)
So long story short, I made a bunch of bookmark designs and even tried out some new paints on them. But of cause you are not just here to listen - well read- about me struggling and designing stuff.
